Getting into IT
Computers caught my attention when I was five. That interest never went away.
I built my own Gentoo Linux system at twelve.
These days, I build websites and I'm still
into Linux and networking.
Linux and IT networking are what I keep coming back to.
I like understanding what's happening behind the screen.
Building websites gives me another way
to put that interest to use.
Computers caught my attention when I was five. That interest never went away.
At twelve, I built my own Gentoo Linux system. I wanted to understand what was happening underneath.
I'm still into Linux and IT networking. I also build websites, and I like working out how each part fits together.
I love IT networking. I like working out how computers talk to each other and how the connections between them work.
It's the same thing that got me into Linux: I want to understand the system I'm using and what I can build with it.
More about networkingThis is the part I enjoy: understanding the path between the machines and how the network fits together.
I run Doceva, where we're building Lingua.
I also design and build complete websites.
Computers at five, my own Gentoo system at twelve, and why I'm still into Linux and networking.
Read the post : How I got into ITI'd like to hear about it, especially
if it involves Linux or networking.
